Ibecon is an emerging technology based on small Bluetooth Low Energy transmitters communicating with owner of mobile device. Developed in 2013 and its major task is to change how people buy and consume. Mainly used in shopping malls to attract shoppers to the store via a fixed Beacon transmitting messages or information to the mobile devices. This system gave us an idea to develop an application to monitor the movement of kids and to minimize the possibilities of losing child out of sight. Such application is not available in the Czech Republic and to our knowledge also in other European Union countries. Our Project Baby Guard is functional and practical system to provide increased safety and prevention to a child both for his indoor and outdoor activities.
